Send files from any device to any device
Most ways of moving a file between your own devices are slow or awkward: a cable that doesn't fit, an email to yourself with a size limit, or a cloud folder that has to upload everything first. OmniBeam sends files straight from one device to the other, so a photo from your iPhone lands on your Windows PC in seconds and a document from your laptop arrives on your Android phone without a detour.
Because OmniBeam runs in the browser, the same page works on every device you own. There is nothing to install and no account to create, so you can also use it on a friend's computer, a work laptop or a school Chromebook where you can't install apps.

Encrypted end to end, never stored
Every file you send is encrypted end to end on your device before it leaves, and only the receiving device can decrypt it. When the two devices can reach each other, the file travels directly between them. When they can't, for example on a strict office network, the encrypted data passes through our server, which forwards it straight away and cannot read it. Nothing is saved on a server, and each transfer has to be accepted on the receiving device first.
Send files to a paired device on any network
Devices on the same Wi‑Fi find each other automatically. For devices on different networks, such as your phone on mobile data and your computer at home, pair them once with a 6‑digit code or by scanning a QR code. A paired device then appears whenever OmniBeam is open on both, wherever they are, so you can send files to your own computer from anywhere. You can rename each device and mark your own devices as trusted so their files are accepted automatically.
What you can send
Photos and videos in full quality, including iPhone HEIC photos and 4K videos. PDFs, Word and Excel documents, ZIP archives and whole folders. Text, links and anything you copied. OmniBeam sets no file size limit, and you can send many files at once or add more while a transfer is running. If the other device is not online right now, share a file by link instead and open it later.
Frequently asked questions
Is OmniBeam free?
Yes. OmniBeam is free to use, with no account, no ads and no app to install.
How do I send files from iPhone to a Windows PC?
Open omnibeam.site in Safari on the iPhone and in any browser on the PC. On the same Wi‑Fi the PC appears on the iPhone; tap it and choose the files. If it does not appear, tap the link button on one device, create a code, and enter it or scan the QR code on the other.
Does it work between Android and iPhone?
Yes. OmniBeam runs in the browser, so it works between any two devices: Android and iPhone, iPhone and Mac, Windows and Android, and so on.
Is it safe? Can anyone else see my files?
Every transfer has to be accepted on the receiving device. Files normally travel directly between the two devices, encrypted end to end. If a direct connection is not possible, they pass through our server still encrypted end to end, so the server can't read them, and are forwarded straight away, never saved.
Why don't my devices see each other?
Devices appear automatically only when they are on the same network. A VPN, iCloud Private Relay or mobile data puts them on different networks. Use Pair devices with a 6‑digit code instead; it works on any network.
Is there a file size limit?
OmniBeam sets no limit. Very large files need enough free space on the receiving device. In Chrome, Edge and Firefox they are written straight to disk.
Do I need to install anything?
No. OmniBeam works in the browser. On Android you can add it to the home screen so it appears in the Share menu, and on Windows you can add it to the right-click Send to menu.
